Title: Drought & Trees
Description: Water use, movement, and transpiration in trees is primarily a physical process based upon available energy (temperature) on a site. Trees living through a drought are stressed and damaged by water limitations for transport and cell health. Trees living under summer drought and large heat loads, are forced to spend any available water to survive. Drought stresses all tree life processes.
